Even though its a lie, is it okay to say you are a virgin if you are not, if the experience was traumatic?

Okay so lets say that you lost it to someone you thought loved you but was just using you and you were used for and you don't want to count it, or it wasn't that great or you were d, or drunk, or something. In the strictest technicality yes, you had , yes you did lose it, but is it okay to not tell anyone you lost your virginity in those cirstances? I mean supposing if you ever do have again you will practice all the necessary precautions, i know that from a health perspective it wouldn't matter regardless if you were or weren't. I spose what im asking is, is it okay, or normal to create a fantasy where it never happened so you don't have to deal with the shame or the quilt, or the pain ect?

Left nostril pain driving me crazy?

Woke up this morning and my left nostril hurts like when i move it or touch it, It looks a little red compared to the other, not noticeable from a distance and it seems a bit swollen again not noticeable. But it really hurts on the outside of the nostril, the right nostril is painless and looks fine. It hasnt changed in pain or appearence since 7 AM this morning and its now 5 PM. What could this be? Its driving me crazy. I have held myself back and not touched the area for fear of spreading an infection if thats the cause.

Now daycare centers want a government bailout - where's mine?

I cannot believe what is happening. Every sector of our society is looking to the government for a bailout. I didn't know the government was a money tree. Now I hear daycare centers are crying out because they believe if a child doesn't play with toys and get interaction in a daycare setting - they will be damaged for life. For goodness sakes, most people in our current generation never had the option for daycare and most daycares are so poorly run that the children participate like mindless zombies. Most people I know would do anything to keep from having to use daycare at all. The question is - I'm working harder than ever to make ends meet and I can't find a job in my career right now and have to accept a lower pay and less benefits. I'll never see a pension. Yet - GM is getting a bailout to save their pensions? Come on - alot of people will have to work until the day they die - and bailout companies that blow it and fail. If GM and Chrysler go under I say AMEN - then we'll have some true competition and perhaps build cars that don't require a monthly mortgage payment to own and that won't suck up a second mortgage payment every month to pay for the gas!!! So - the question is - where is MY bailout - Obama is going to send check to everybody - what nonsense - it's only going to hit me worse in the end through taxes. It's time we all stopped living above our means and get out of debt entirely - including the government - they have to stop bailing out the world and giving other countries aid - we need to start over with a clean slate, stop spending more than we have as a nation and end credit entirely. We either have cars and homes that don't require credit to own or we don't have them period. What do you think is the real solution - it's not having Obama send checks to non-tax payers. A one time check in the mail does nothing long term does it? I'm just as mad that I got a rebate check earlier this year because it's not getting to the core of the issue. Most people have 10x more debt than ets and our government is the worst. I guess I don't really want a bailout - I want a real person to put a real solution in place - not make all kinds of promises to give out money and suck it out of me through taxation- when the goverment is not a money tree.

Is my son allergic to milk?

My son has been on formula since he was born, because he would not feed at all. The first month he could drink regular formula then all of a sudden he started vomiting a lot and it was bad so I figured it was because he was allergic to milk so I switch him to Soy, and he would spit up, but he wouldn't vomit like he did before. Now he is 10 months old and will not drink his formula so I was thinking about switching him out to milk. Distilled water is not good for tanks. Bottled spring water is best. Or just get a gallon jug, put the required amount of drops of aquarium conditioner in it, fill it up with water that's as close to the temp of the water in the tank as possible, and pour it in the tank. The chlorine remover works immediately but its best to put it in the container first, then add the water.

The only explanation I can come up with is that, while watching these events now, 9 years later, you're not only able to see how devastating that particular moment in time was THEN, but the gravity, the impact that it had following. Every horrible thing that has come about because of it, all rolled into one single event, that one single iconic image 9 years ago. The ugly side of retrospect. The flames, the planes, the horror on all of those faces, and to now know that it was just the beginning. Sometimes you can't make it on your own (U2) so true. Experiencing 'true' 'real' intimate pionate love with your soul mate and then having it ripped from you is one of the most if not the hardest thing to go through in life. I have lost many people close to me, my brother killed himself when i was very young, my best friend got killed when i was a teenager, seeing many people on their death bed and other atrocities on operations overseas when i served in the army, surviving military prison and 3 drug overdoses and the whole drug world, this by far is the hardest, deepest pain i have ever experienced. I think it's definitely a good start, and it could benefit from some revision (but all stories do, after all). I just wanted to point out that the character wakes up surprised that she has cried in her sleep, and later she admits that she has been having "memorable" nightmares. Furthermore, she doesn't know initially what made her cry in the beginning, but later she is able to recall every detail of her nightmare. You don't have to take this to heart, but my suggestion would be to include a scene from the nightmare right before Kristin wakes Lucy up, then have her have one of those "it was just a dream" thoughts before explaining to Kristin why she was crying.

I know every academic may go on about how bad television is for you but for me I felt that it freed me and helped show me a different world out there! Something I don't think books ever could. I can remember when MTV 2 would show videos by groups like Sonic Youth and Violent Fems and Chemical Brothers and culture going on in cool places like New York and London and Tokyo and LA and Austin and Paris and San Francisco and Chicago... exc exc . Well, let me start off by saying I've lived with a straight mom, dad, and two sisters. Once in a while, I was able to see my half brother. This sounds like a really tough situation. It's something that could easily lead to depression for you. I think you're right about cutting contact and if you haven't already done so you should cut the contact. When you have a lot of free time you tend to dwell on bad things that have happened to you. I am approximately 5 weeks pregnant (from last menstruation). I am happy but worried as this is a terrible time to be pregnant with H1N1 flu going around. pain tolerance varies from person to person, but from experience i'll admit that my chest tattoo was easily the most painful. i would not recommend it as your first tattoo because it is painful and considering such you want know the touch of your tattooist. my chest was done by an artist with a very heavy hand. i'm happy with the result, but definitely not the process. had i known then what i know now, i'd have gone to a much gentler artist. also keep in mind that unless you have a relationship with the shop and the artist, you run the risk of paying shop minimum (here the standard is around $85) regardless of the size of your art. another reason to consider saving this for another day...

I totally know the feeling. Believe me, it can be hard, but sometimes you have to just live with it. I remember being infatuated with this guy that was a couple years older then me, I was crushing hard, but he didn't even know I existed. Then after a couple of months one of my friends kind of gave me a rude awakening, they told me that if the guy really felt the same way he probably would've put in some effort to communicate with me, and you don't really want a guy that doesn't even notice you. At first I was mad at him, but then I realized he was right. I was totally wasting my time because I was so focused on getting this one guy, I guess I was crushing for so long because it seemed like a challenge, like I could get him eventually. So my advice to you is just try to move on, there are so many great guys out there, ones that will be crazy about you from the moment they see you, and ones that will make an effort to make you a part of their lives. How do you leave things so terribly with someone you were supposed to have loved? Anyway, I am moved into a new place and found some important items of my ex that I intend on sending back. Some people say to not put any note in the package, others say to keep it short saying 'found these things of yours' and I am almost considering putting another kind of note in the box just to give myself some closure. I think that would be kind of stupid and maybe in the long run make me feel worse if I get no response (or even if I do get a response... the whole thing makes me feel lousy).
