What is the ski/snowboard scene like in Machusetts?

I am a lower intermediate skier, and Wachusett is okay, but better to go to N.H. I think Princeton is less than an hour from Boston, I live on the Cape so it takes longer. One to two hours from Boston to go to the ski resorts I like, such as Killington in VT, my favorite, good local bars and stuff. N.H. if you go to North Conway, theres a bunch of mountains in the vicinity, but don't go to Cranmore, it's for babies.
