Saturn Ion and Sirius Radio?

I recently bought a 2006 Saturn Ion that is usually capable of XM/ Sirius Radio. The thing is is that the car was originally from Canada, so it does not have the XM antenna, but I believe the radio is already capaple of having XM or Sirius on it. Does anyone know if this is correct? Do I just need an antenna or do I need the whole package?
